• 5 mm. (US 8 ) circular knitting needles (40 cm. (16”) length)
• 5 mm. (US 8) double pointed knitting needles. (for convenient decreases) or you can use ‘magic loop’ with circular knitting needles (80 cm. (32”) length)
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers
• Count rows (optional)

Hat is worked in one piece in the round on 5 mm. 40 cm (16”). length circular needle, then change to double pointed needles to work the last few rounds (or use ‘magic loop’ and 80 cm. length circular needle). If you prefer, you can work the hat on double pointed knitting needles.
