Ladies loose fitting, over top in mohair. The garment has dropped shoulders, lantern sleeves and downward curved yolk. The garment could easily be made longer to produce a dress or longer overtop.
The garment was knitted in 4 ply mohair yarn. A tension setting 7.1 (one dot after 7) on a Knitmaster machine, gave 24 stitches and 37.5 rows to 4” or 10cm square. Any 4 ply yarn can be substituted providing the tension is matched. A Knitmaster 700 with combined lace carriage was used, with Knitmaster lace pattern 10 (reproduced at the end of the booklet) any standard gauge machine could be used, and ANY alternative lace patterns could be substituted. Once the basic pattern design is mastered it can be adapted many ways, any future additions or adaptations to this pattern made by me will be added to earlier versions and provided free of charge to earlier purchasers.
