Mohair Mitts!

A simple design with neat and tidy details to create a seamless pair of mitts that will keep hands warm in the winter (or even in the summer when the A/C gets set too low).

I love mohair for all the reasons… it’s fluffy ‘halo’, the fact it’s lightweight yet still warm, the durability, and the fun you can have mixing colors to create a custom yarn color.

If you’re looking for a basic pattern for some fluffy mitts, check out the details below and maybe give this pattern a go!

CONSTRUCTION

  • Knit in the round (I use MagicLoop, but DPNs are fun too)
  • Bottom up makes them easy to try on as you go
  • Easy to work gusseted thumb, for a nice fit

  • 2 sizes included for varying hand widths, lengths are easily adjusted to your liking

YARNS

  • 50g Fingering weight + 25g Mohair
