Explore the magic of adding a strand of lace weight mohair to your favorite wool. We used Berroco Pixel. You can try any multicolor, or striped, or even tweeded wool.

This hat is all ribbing and very easy for beginners. There’s enough yarn leftover for a pompom on top.

Sizes:
To fit head sizes approximately 16–19 (19–22, 22–24)“ finished measurements 14 (16, 18)” around x 8½ (9½, 11)“ high (unstretched)

Yarn:
BERROCO PIXEL or Sesame (100 grs): 1 hank /Ball and
BERROCO Aerial Mohair – (.875oz): 1 ball
Note -I strand of each yarn held together throughout

Needles and notions:
16” circular needles, sizes 6 (4.00 mm) and 7 (4.50 mm) or size to obtain gauge
1 set (4) double-pointed needles, size 7 (4.50 mm)
6 stitch markers (1 a different color for beg-of-round)
Tapestry needle
Optional: Pom-pom maker

Gauge:
24 sts and 28 rounds = 4” in k1, p1 ribbing on larger needle. To save time and ensure accurate measurements, take time to check gauge.
