Mohair Tunic

Pattern Level: Intermediate

Sizes: XS (S/M, L/XL, 2X/3X)

Materials:

  • 7 (7, 9, 10) balls of Mohair So Soft Yarn 65 yds 60 m | 50 g 1.8 oz each, 47% super kid mohair, 53% extra fine merino wool
  • Size US 17 (12 mm) circular knitting needles, 20” (50 cm) in length
  • Size US 19 (15 mm) circular knitting needles, 20” (50 cm) in length

Gauge:
6.5 sts/ 4” in stockinette stitch when worked flat (for the body of the sweater)
7.5 sts/4” in stockinette stitch when worked in the round (for the sleeves), both on size US 19 (15 mm) needles
10 rows/ 4” (10 cm) in Stockinette Stitch on size US 19 (15 mm) needles.

Note: For many knitters, working stockinette in the round yields a different row gauge than working it flat, since they are working only knit stitches, not knit and purl stitches - this is why we provide a different gauge for each.

Finished Measurements:
