Moire
The fourth mitten pair in the Nordic Mitten Club takes us to Scotland. This design is my take on the famous Sanquhar Gloves - but as mittens! They start with a typical Sanquhar cuff, featuring colourwork corrugated rib. For the hand of the mittens, a classic Sanquhar chart is worked with the construction you know from Norwegian Selbu Mittens.

Yarn
Rauma Finull PT2 (100% Norwegian wool, 175 m / 191 yds, 50 g). Approximately 50 g for each of the 2 colours.
Needles
Gauge-size needles, and 0.5 mm and 1 mm below gauge-size needles for working small circumferences in the round.
The sample was made using 3 mm (US 2 1/2), 2.75 mm (US 2) and 2.5 mm (US 1 1/2) needles.
