This is the fifth of a series of tiny mythical creatures.

This tiny mermaid stands at 2½-3” tall when made according to the PDF pattern. You can make her larger by adjusting your hook size and using yarn rather than thread.

You will need:
-1.3 mm crochet hook
-Yarn needle
-Crochet thread 3ply (You will need multiple colors)
-Polyfil/Stuffing

She’s simple, easy, and quick to make. Perfect for children and adults. Can easily become a key chain with the addition of a key ring.

Skills Needed:
-crocheting in a magic ring
-single, half-double and double stitches
-decreasing (invisible preferred) and increasing
-front and backloop stitching.

Little Mermaids are known to be evasive. They aren’t fond of human noise so they prefer to live deep within the ocean. At night they like to swim and sing and play games near the surface. When seen in the wild they are known to be mischievous and curious but don’t get too close because they can be dangerous as well.
