Skill Level: Intermediate due to lots of cables with no rest rows
Materials: Approx. 300-350 yards (275-320 meters) of sock yarn in a solid or nearly solid color; cable needle, if necessary; tapestry needle; measuring tape; scissors.
Needles: US1 (2.25mm) sock needles. The pattern is written for DPNs, but can be easily adapted for magic loop knitters with stitch markers to note needle placements.
Sizing: Small (Large) socks measure 8(9) inches / 20(22.5) cm in circumference, leg height, ankle, and foot length are all adjustable to fit and preference.

One year ago from the release date of these socks, a very good friend of mine passed away. Her name is Molly, and she remains one of the strongest and most positive influences in my life. Her ability to face huge challenges with cheerfulness and humor make my problems seem light and my complaints insignificant.

So here are Molly’s Socks. I designed them in her honor, and I urge you to share them with your best friend & to treasure your friendships.
