The pieces are knit from different ends of the gradient to achieve a colorblocking effect. You only need one cake of yarn to make the entire set! Of course, any other bulky yarn that achieves gauge will also do.

There are three pieces in the set: a baby sweater, a headband for mom, and a headband for baby. The raglan sweater is knit seamlessly in the round from the top down. The headbands are knit in double stockinette, an easy techinque that creates a double-thick, cozy fabric with a professional looking finish.
