This tiny little dachshund is only 2.5”/6,5cm long (measured from the tip of the nose to the end of the tail) and will fit on your finger. His mom (measures 5”/12,5cm) is always there to take care of him and together they make a pair that’s beyond cute!

I used DK yarn and 2,5mm (US 1.5) needles, but you can use thicker/thinner yarn if you prefer. Just remember to adjust the needles size, so that the created fabric is tight and stuffing won’t show between the stitches.

You need to know how to increase with M1R and M1L and how to do a backward loop cast on.

At the very end of the file you’ll find a printable version of the pattern. You can go there by clicking here. This version is all black and white, written with smaller font and contains no photos.
