This is a ‘keyhole’ style scarf that I made at the request of my Mother In Law for a trip she is taking in the fall. It’s soft and lacy, but when tucked around and through the keyhole, it keeps the neck nice and warm in cooling weather. It has kind of a lacy ‘leaf’ motif coming out from the middle of a little cable made of simple twists.

It would be easy to make it longer or have it work without the keyhole. Gauge is only suggested, so if you prefer then play around with a different yarn or size of needle for different effects.

I used less than 1 skein of yarn, but am only guessing at the necessary yardage.
