Autumn and winter call for coziness and warm socks – these socks, worked with two strands of fingering weight yarn or one strand of DK weight yarn, are done within a short time. The ribbed pattern keeps the interest going.

They can be worked two-at-a-time (2AAT) or just one after the other, but are designed to be easy to work up 2AAT on a long circular needle.

The socks are worked toe-up, using Judy’s Magic Cast on (links are provided) and a short row heel. If you are a comfortable sock knitter, feel free to replace the heel with the one you prefer.

The ribbed pattern is shown on charts.
