Monique’s Shawl is the first pattern in the Friendship Collection. I have been blessed to have not one, but three amazing women in my life I consider my besties. This collection is dedicated to them.

I met Monique in university. She was knitting before class and I simply had to know what she was knitting. The rest as they say, is history.

Monique’s shawl is a single skein, fingering weight, shallow triangle shawl. Starting with a stockinette body, then a lace border, finished off with a scalloped edge.

The pattern is written, with row counter boxes for tracking, and is suitable for adventurous beginners.

Pattern has been tech edited and test knit.

The Friendship Collection consists of a single skein shawl (Monique’s Shawl), two skein/colour shawl (Jen’s Shawl), a single skein Cowl (Patty’s Cowl) and a pair of fingerless mitts (Friendship Mitts). All four patterns are knit in fingering weight and feature the same lace stitch pattern. All four patterns are available in the Friendship Collection e-book.
