Materials:
- Red Heart Yarns
o Medium brown or sienna: approximately 100- 130 yards
o Warm brown: approximately 25- 40 yards
o Buff: approximately 10- 15 yards
o Yellow: approximately 20-25 yards
o Black: approximately 10-15 yards
o White: approximately 1- 3 yards
- Hooks: *** not all hooks will be used for each size
o Size “I” (5.50 MM) hook
o Size “H” (5.00 MM) hook
o Size “G” (4.25 MM) hook
o Size “F” (3.75 MM) hook
o Size “E” (3.25 MM) hook

  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors
  • Small amount of fiberfill for face muzzle and banana hat
  • Optional: this really makes it easier to get facial features placed/ sewn on just right o Styrofoam head o Stick pins Notes:
  1. This pattern was created with the beginner in mind, there are no complicated stitches
  2. This pattern is written in US terms for the right handed crocheter
  3. This pattern contains 4 sizes: a. Small (toddler) b. Medium (large child) c. Large (teen/ small adult) d. XL (adult)
  4. This pattern contains many photos to help you along
  5. This pattern was tested with Red Heart Super Saver yarns only
  6. Gauge using HDC and size “I” (5.50 MM) hook: 12 rows= 4”, 14 sts= 4”
  7. Chains at beginning of rounds do not count in stitch count
  8. Numbers in parentheses at end of rounds indicate total stitch count for round
  9. Stitches within brackets are to be repeated by number of times indicated after bracket
  10. Finished product: wash in cold or luke-warm water, tumble dry on low heat or lay flat to dry
