This pattern is one of the ones I’m most proud of. It came to me easy one night after learning how to knit the seed stitch. As a crocheter first, I had always loved the moss stitch, so finding a knit stitch that was similar to it was like gold. From the moment I learned how to knit this stitch it was my mission to incorporate it in as many of my patterns as I could.
And during an early September night, while I was prepping for my first Pop-Up of the season, an idea came to me and wa ~ la, The Monroe Earwarmer was made. I hope you all have as much fun knitting this beauty as I do every time I pick up my needles!

This ear warmer is worked in the seed stitch ~ this means that whenever you see a knit stitch, you work a purl into it and whenever you see a purl stitch, you work a knit into it.
I like to place a stitch marker along the first row to ensure that when counting my count is accurate.
