The yoke of this top-down sweater is knit flat with garter stitch yoke shaping in the main color. The body continues in the round with reverse stockinette stitch to show off the purl bumps. A contrast color sleeve is knit with raglan shaping and joined to the main color yoke while you knit it for a seamless join. Optional thumbholes create a cozy sleeve cuff and short rows raise the ribbed collar for a stylish stream-lined fit. Choose worsted or aran weight yarn to knit this unique Westknits sweater named after Monsieur Plastique, my fabulous friend and makeup artist in the photos.

Sizes
36 (41, 45, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64)” / 91 (104, 114, 122, 132, 142, 152, 163)cm chest circumference. These sizes are the finished measurements of the sweater.

I recommend selecting a size 2 – 4” / 5” – 10cm larger
than your actual chest circumference for a fit with a bit of
positive ease.

The gray and blue sample is the 45” / 114cm size shown on a 40” / 102cm chest circumference.

Finished Measurements
36 (41, 45, 48, 52, 56, 60,
64)” / 91 (104, 114, 122, 132, 142, 152, 163)cm chest
circumference.

See Schematic for detailed yoke and sleeve
measurements.

The sleeve and body lengths are customizable.

The sweater is designed to fit with approximately 2 – 4” /
5 – 10cm of positive ease.
