The knitter can either use 5 strands of DK yarn held together to make this sweater OR one strand of Super Bulky like Crazy Sexy Wool from Wool and the Gang.
You will need 600g, 700g, 700g, 800g, (800g, 850g, 900g, 1000g) of double knitting yarn
OR
You will need 4.5-11 balls (200grams each) of super chunky yarn (900grams- 2200grams)

Because certain yarns are heavier than others, I would suggest just bringing your stash together and going for it! weights of sweaters will differ depending on material you use

The pattern has been written for confident beginners and can be made up in a day or two!

This fun and squishy beauty is knitted in the round from the waistband up! There is the option for a ribbed waistband or the turned up garter stitch waistband shown in picture above.
It is then separated for the front and back panels, we then go on to do some flat stocking stitch. Then we have some neckline shaping. We pick up stitches around the arm holes for the ICONIC HUGE SLEEVES, knit those bad boys up and bind them off. We finish off the sweater by picking up stitches along the neckline for the neckline ribbing.
The monster sweater is totally seamless, apart from the shoulder stitch 3 needle bind off which means more knitting, less seaming YAY! Weaving in ends is an option, not a must.
