I always know I’m on to a winner when the model wants to take a project home with her, and that’s exactly what happened in this case - it’s so easy to wear, both as a shawl and a scarf, and it goes with casual outfits and more formal looks like.

A relaxing project to knit, with hidden increases allowing the yarn to speak for itself with no distracting distorted stitches (I spent seriously ages working out how to make it look good on both the right and wrong sides!) and the picot edging has been calculated to undulate even after blocking.

The pattern is designed to use up every last bit of a skein of fingering weight yarn plus approximately 10gm extra for the contrast edging. The instructions are given for the photographed version, which is knitted from one skein of the fabulous Madelinetosh Twist Light but include variation calculations for the edging if you want to make your shawl larger or smaller.
