The Montana Mitts were designed during the Solidarity Swap 2019, using yarn I received from my swap partner from her home state of Montana.
The mitts are knitted in the round and have an offset lace pattern on the back of each hand, the main body being knit in double moss stitch to give a lovely squishy texture.

One of my testers (holdthestitch) used Worsted weight yarn and these are her modifications-
CO 36 stitches and knit rib as stated, then decrease to 34 stitches; then follow pattern as stated. Knit thumb same way; knit until 12 extra stitches for thumb, put on scrap yarn; continue the last set of rows 1-8 that your on when doing this, which is following pattern… just like pattern at the end of the set, switch to k2, p2 rib and bind off
