MONTEVIDEO socks are knitted from the cuff to toe, with Afterhought heel. This type of heel is unfortunately a narrow, but I designed a deepened heel. The deeper heel is better on the foot and loks nicer.
This project is good for beginners.

Sizes: 1, 2, 3 (negative ease 0.4”/1 cm)

1. 18.5-19 cm/ 7.28-7.48”
2. 21-22 cm/8.27-8.66”

Heel to cuff: about 11 cm/4.3”
Feet length: adjustable

Materials:
Presented socks are knitted by MINIS Ultimate sock from Malabrigo.
You can use any sock yarn, fingering weight.

Gauge:
34 sts. x36 rows to 4”/10 cm on US 1.5/2.5 mm needles, in colourwork, after blocking.

Skarpetki MONTEVIDEO dziergane są od ściągacza do palców, tzw. Afterhought heel. Niestety taka pięta jest stosunkowo płytka i dlatego też zaprojektowałam głębszą wersję tej pięty. Pogłębiona pięta lepiej się układa i lepiej leży na stopie (skarpetki nie są brzydko rozciągnięte przy pięcie).
Polecam tą wersję szczególnie dla osób początkujących, bo wbrew pozorom te skarpetki są bardzo łatwe do zrobienia.
