I love French berets and I love houndstooth patterns, so I thought I should combine my two favorite things… I named this pattern after my favorite area in Paris, if you have seen the movie Amélie, you know exactly what I mean.
Remember that this pattern can also be used for knitting a solid color beret - just knit all stitches in the same yarn color :)

I used Drops Flora which is a light fingering weight yarn, 50 gram=210 meters.
While you can use any yarn that you want, I highly recommend using wool yarn for this beret, since it will require blocking to get the perfect flat shape.
For color A, you will need about 150 meters of yarn, and for color B, you will need 100 meters.
Color A is black and color B is white on the beret shown on the Ravelry page.
