This baby girl dress is pretty pink, with appliqued cherry blossoms and a soft ruffle. It has a more grown up feel than a lot of baby clothes. It can be worn alone in warmer weather or over a onesie when it gets cool. As baby grows, the dress can become a tunic and be paired with pants or baby leggings.

This dress is made to fit close, so it may be a little tight on a larger child. The ruffle repeat is worked in multiples of eight, so for every two stitches you wish to add to the skirt diameter, add eight stitches to the cast on row.

The pattern is ideally worked with an interchangeable needle set. However, it can be worked using multiple circular needles.
