The Moodie Hoodie is a simple yet versatile accessory that works well in autumn, winter, and spring. It is worked from the top down. Stitches are picked up around the top and it is knitted back and forth until the chin is reached. Then the collar is worked in the round. At the end stitches are picked up and worked in stockinette for the border. The strap is then worked as an I-Cord.

This pattern provides you with 3 different versions, each using a different yarn type and slightly different gauges. In addition to stitch counts, measurements are also provided, allowing you to adapt the hoodie to other yarn and gauges if you wish :)

First version

Der Moodie Hoodie ist ein simples und gleichzeitig vielseitig verwendbares Accessoire, welches man gut im Herbst, Winter und Frühling tragen kann. Es wird von oben nach unten gestrickt. Maschen werden um den oberen Teil herum aufgenommen, von hier wird dann in Hin- und Rückreihen gestrickt bis man das Kinn erreicht hat und der Hals wird in Runden gearbeitet. Am Ende werden Maschen für den Rand aufgenommen und glatt rechts gestrickt. Die Kordel wird mit einem I-Cord gestrickt.

In dieser Anleitung sind 3 verschiedene Versionen enthalten, die eine unterschiedliche Art von Garn mit leicht unterschiedlichen Maschenproben verwenden. Zusätzlich zu der Maschenanzahl, werden an mehreren Stellen auch die Maße angegeben, sodass man auch andere Garne mit anderen Maschenproben verwenden könnte :)
