These mittens where created while I was on my honeymoon in Oct 2020 on the coast of Northern Ireland at Castle Rock.

Quickly realising that the coast and beach are a very cold place in the Autumn and having left my gloves at home in rush after the wedding, I remembered I’d packed 1skein of dk yarn and my crochet hooks. I set to work and created myself a lovely quick pair of fingerless mittens!

Not only did they keep my hands warm, but they are a lovely reminder of the time and location where I made them. These mittens are so quick to make and would make the perfect last minute gift.

These mittens are great for crocheters who have mastered the basics. The main body of the mitt is a simple granny motif with plenty of step by step photos along the way to help guide you through the process.

There are two sizes to make, instructions on how to measure your hand are included to ensure the perfect fit! And instructions on how to customise the length of cuff are included.

One pair of mittens took one 50g ball of Stylecraft batik elements, so they are a really great stash buster!
