I created this blanket for a friend who was doing a space themed nursery. I saw a quilt like this but nothing crocheted. So I went about designing my own pattern. Figured I would make it available to anyone else who also wanted to make one. I like how the moon is stitched using a different technique so that it rises up off the blanket. Makes for a fun texture and a cool visual effect. This pattern includes all my tips and tricks, even some helpful videos on how to do certain techniques. There is a graph included so you’ll need to be familiar with crocheting from a graph. I did not write out specific row by row instructions as I find looking at the graph is easier. Finished blanket measures 47x62 inches. However you can make it a different size by altering the graph or using a different thickness in yarn. Hope you enjoy the pattern!
