This pattern uses the “Starburst” circle from Nicky Epstein’s book Knitting in Circles as the basis for the body, with some modifications. Short rows create the wedge pattern and the yarn is not wrapped at the end of each short row. The collar is created after the body by picking up stitches along the neck edge.
