Alternating stripes of color interleave from opposite edges. Worked as short rows, each stripe falls a few stitches short of the opposite side, leaving bands of solid color at each edge.

Size is easily adjustable by using more or less yarn.

Yarn: Two colors of fingering weight yarn.
Shown in Dream in Color Smooshy; 85% superwash fine merino wool, 15% nylon; 420 yards/4 ounces
Color A: Indigo, 285 yards
Color B: Milky Spite, 220 yards

Needles: 40 inch US #5 / 3.75 mm circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
