Moontide is a cozy, oversized wrap whose unique shape and reversible texture allow it to be styled many ways. It is knit center-out, in a slipped rib stitch pattern, with a faded pop of color at the border, and two tassels at the corners.

Moontide was inspired by the warmth of a mother’s love and my hope is that it will be knit by you and find purpose from infancy to adulthood: to snuggle or nurse a baby, as a lap blanket on movie night, to take the chill off around a campfire, or just as a stylish fall accessory. This is a knit designed for your real life.

MATERIALS
YARN: in Bulky weight yarn:
MC - 910 yds 833 m
CC1 - 130 yds 119 m
CC2 - 130 yds 119 m
CC3 - 130 yds 119 m

Sample was knit with Malabrigo Mecha (100% Merino Wool; 130 yds/100g) in Orujo (MC), Borrajas (CC1), Volcan (CC2), and Mostaza (CC3). If you’re working with the recommended yarn, watch your gauge closely or have extra yardage of the CC colors! I used one ball for each CC, but it was close!

NEEDLES: 60” (150 cm) circular needle in size US 10½ (6.5 cm) OR size required to obtain gauge and a needle one size smaller for bind off (optional)

NOTIONS: 8 stitch markers, darning needle for weaving ends.
