March 2016 Project Linus Crochet Square

A tile-like square is achieved using Front Post Double Crochet cables. Once the pattern is established in the first couple rows the rest of the square is easy to complete.
Options include leaving the 9” square plain, using simply embroidered bands to create a smocked appearance, or attaching tiny Windflowers for a garden effect.

Crafts & Laughs is working on a project (2015-2016) to knit and crochet 9” blocks to be made into blankets. These will be donated to various organizations through Project Linus.
