Yeah!! My first color work design! So fun!
Moorland is a pleasure to knit and is suitable for those new to color work because it is worked in the round and uses just 2 colors. The sample was made with Istex Lettlopi which is the perfect “sticky” yarn for color work. Grab a couple of colors and come play!

Notes:
This sweater is worked in the round from the top down with a seamless color work yoke. Short-row back neck shaping is worked before and after the color work, and the increases are distributed evenly around the yoke. Once the yoke is complete, the stitches for body and sleeves are divided. There is no body shaping below the armholes, but waist shaping may easily be added if desired. The sleeves and body can easily be lengthened simply by adding more rounds. The are directions for both three quarter and full length sleeves (Full length will require slightly more yardage). The pullover is modeled with slight positive ease, but it can be made with more ease or negative ease. Be sure to swatch the color work as well as the plain stockinette; it’s often necessary to change needles sizes to maintain consistent gauge.
