The Moorland Mittens are both timeless and classic, designed for adventurers everywhere. The original mittens were inspired by the novels of the Brontë sisters, and knit with 100% British wool, but these mittens are great for winter exploring anywhere- from the English Moors to the Canadian mountains, or anywhere else your journey may take you.

The original pattern calls for Blacker Yarns Westcountry Tweed. The lighter version of the mittens are knit using Raincloud and Sage Origin, naturally dyed with walnuts.

Supplies:
2 skeins of Blacker Westcountry Tweed OR 100g (238 yards) of another DK weight yarn
size 4.5mm (US 7) DPN’s
cable needle (cn)
stitch marker
tapestry needle
