Moose walk through the trees on this earflap hat. Designed for cold weather, it is knit with two and occasionally three colors per row and has a sewn-in lining. Worked at 7 1/2 stitches to the inch, it is sized for an adult man, and size changes are best made by changing the needle size and gauge. The pattern uses approximately 30 yards each of 16 colors of greens and browns and is perfect for the knitter with the large stash.
