For this year’s Halloween costume I just had to be a moose! This pattern is a little different in that the hat includes the entire moose body instead of just the head. It’s more like wearing a stuffed moose around on your head!

I don’t think gauge or yarn weight are very important - just make sure your needle isn’t too big for your yarn weight so the stuffing doesn’t show through. I used a light brown for the main body, a dark brown for the hooves, and a tan for the horns in DK weight, but that was more dependent on what I had lying around than actual necessity. Sorry, I don’t remember the yardage! It will vary anyways depending on what sort of texture you give the moose body.

I tried my best to record my mad-scientist creating into a clear pattern, but I’ll try my best to assist if anything is confusing.

Happy moosing!
