Have you ever seen a moose? Imagine a creature built like a cow on stilts, that you are looking up at from the seat in your car. Trust me, you want to be in your car and not face to face with one in the wild! The are majestic and rather rare in the lower 48 of the USA, but my oh my they are beautiful. Now in this hat, you can capture the image of the majestic moose in a snowy field all from the safety and comfort of your favorite knitting chair!

Jody Long Ciao is washable and very springy, this fabric has a lot of stretch in it.

The second skein of main color is only required for making a long brim or length in the crown of the hat if a slouchy look is desired.

The pom pom made in the contrast color took less than 10g of yarn.
