Inspired by the gentle flow of glacial waters through mountain lakes, these socks feature a simple 1x1 twisted rib that ripples down the leg and foot. The textured stitch pattern lets beautiful yarns shine while adding just the right amount of structure and stretch. Thoughtfully placed ribbing at the cuff and across the top of the foot creates a comfortable, stay-put fit. Available in both top-down and toe-up versions for everyone to knit.

Finished measurements

Foot circumference: 7 (7.8, 8.5) inches/ 17.5 (19, 21.5) cm.
Foot length: adjustable.
Choose a size with approximately 1 inch/ 2.5 cm of negative ease in the foot circumference.

Materials

Yarn: Amaranth Fibres- Sock n Roll. 80% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon.“Blue Roundhead” colourway.

Recommend needle size: 1 set US #1 / 2.25 mm needles for knitting in the round.
Notions: wool needle for grafting, stitch markers.

Gauge

32 sts/ 44 rows = 4 inches/ 10 cm in stockinette.
