2/18/2019 I have updated the pattern so now with the purchase of More Pi you will get 3 separate patterns: More Pi Shawl/Blanket, More Pi Poncho & More Pi Poncho V2.

Please note that there are three patterns in this collection. More Pi Shawl/Blanket, More Pi Poncho & More Pi Poncho V2. The only difference between More Pi Shawl & More Pi Poncho is the cast on. Either you make blanket/shawl or cast on for a turtle neck so it can be worn as a poncho. The More Pi Poncho V2 however has different charts. The easiest way to notice the difference is the color work section in V2 by the neck.

Thank you for all of your support and lovely comments on my patterns! Andee

12/6/18- I have updated the More Pi Poncho pattern. There was an error on Section “A” Row 1- it should read K3, yo not K2, yo

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I have updated the pattern so the mistake is no longer in the pattern.***

ABOUT- MORE PI Shawl/Blanket
“More Pi” is a Pi Shawl Blanket. It is made out of DK weight yarn. It is intended to be used as a lap blanket or worn around your shoulders to keep you warm and cozy while sitting in your favorite chair. The entire blanket is worked in the round except for the knitted on edging. It starts on DPNs and then is worked on circular needles. The outer edging is worked as a knitted on edge. The pattern is worked mostly by charts, but there are a few written sections.

ABOUT- MORE PI Poncho
“More Pi Poncho” is a circular poncho. It is made out of DK weight yarn. The entire poncho is worked in the round except for the knitted on edging. It starts on 16” circular needles and then is worked on larger circular needles. The outer edging is worked as a knitted on edge. The pattern is worked mostly by charts, but there are a few written sections.

Please note that the picture above shows a slightly different version of the More Pi Poncho then how this pattern is written. This picture is of a version I made prior to the release of the More Pi shawl / blanket version. I modified the original pattern to make this pattern a more enjoyable knit. The main differences are: I removed the brown and white color work section by the neck and the color repeats changed slightly. I have included a picture of the More Pi pattern on page 2 of this pattern. That picture represents the actual color changes. The only difference with the More Pi shawl/blanket and the More Pi Poncho is that Chart “A” is worked as a 2x2 ribbed pattern for the neck hole. The rest of the pattern is worked the same.
