Morgentau is German for morning dew. The idea for this cowl came to me on an early morning walk back in my home country, Switzerland. For the first 4 days of our visit, my 2 year old son was up until the early morning hours due to jet lag! The easiest way to get him to finally fall asleep was taking him for a walk in the stroller. I was exhausted, but the magical sparkle of dew drops on the luscious flowers and bushes I saw on these walks left a lasting impression through the fog of fatigue!
The border is knit flat and joined with a 3 needle bind off to form a circle. Then, stitches are picked up around the edge to knit the cowl in the round.
