DESIGN OVERVIEW: Both hat and scarf are knitted in simple ribbing stitch in DK weight yarn.
Knitting of scarf starts with pointy end and slowly increased to the full width. The edges of scarf follow the travelling pattern creating beautiful wavy edges.
The scarf is knitted back and forth on straight needles; the hat is knitted in the round.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS FOR HAT baby (toddler; child; teen/adult M; adult L):
Fits head circumference:

• in cm: 39-43 (44-48, 49-52, 53-56, 58-60),
• in inches: 16” (18”, 20”, 22”, 23”).

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS FOR SCARF:
Width: 23 cm/9 inches;
Length: approx. 180 cm/71 inches

TOOLS & MATERIALS REQUIRED:

• 4 x 50 g of wool yarn for the set
• Circular needle size US 6 (4.0 mm) x 50 cm
• Knitting needle US 7 (4.5 mm) – for scarf
• DPN size US 6 (4.0 mm) for hat’s crown
• Tapestry needle or crochet hook
• Stitch markers

GAUGE FOR HAT:
18 stitches and 30 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round and after blocking using needle US 6 (4.0 mm)
GAUGE FOR SCARF: 18 sts and 22 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch after blocking using needle US 7 (4.5 mm)
