Do your night owl tendencies have you dragging? A cheerful hand knit reusable coffee sleeve and a pumpkin spice latte may be just what you need to fuel your day! These sleeves can be used over and over which means you can save lots of disposable cardboard sleeves and avoid the need to “double cup.” They are also made of insulating wool which means your coffee will stay hotter longer!

This sleeve will fit a 16 oz. takeout cup, or larger. If you would like a smaller cozy to fit a 12 oz. cup, leave out 1 round of ribbing from both the top and bottom of the cozy and go down 1 needle size.

Materials
Any worsted weight yarn, approximately 40 yards
8 small buttons
1 yard of orange or yellow yarn for the beaks
Sewing thread and needle
Tapestry needle
US 5 circular needles 40” or longer for magic loop, OR set of 5 DPNs

Gauge
Between 10.5 and 11.5 stitches = 2” in stockinette…exact gauge is not extremely important as this piece can stretch a lot
