Morningside Top is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch. First the back is worked back and forth. Stitches are then picked up from the cast-on edge to form each shoulder whilst shaping the neck. The front is joined and knitted back and forth; once complete, the front and back are joined. The body is then knit in the round and finished in a classic rib stitch. Finally, stitches are picked up and knitted in rib along the neck edge, then folded over and secured on the wrong side. The pattern includes two armhole depth options: a deeper depth and a shallower depth for increased bra coverage.
