This is a charted pattern with minimal additional guidance.

Adjust needle size to adjust the size of the finished product. I have larger hands for a woman and i like to knit my mittens with a US1.5, but YMMV.

In the samples, the MC is the darker green. The CC is the other color.

My mitten patterns are pretty bare bones. They are not for beginner knitters. If you need more instruction than is provided, these aren’t the patterns for you.

I like to work an i-cord cast on, but you can do whatever you want.

I also make a thumb gusset by CO additional stitches when dividing the thumb out. These are decreased over the next number of rounds. This isn’t included in the pattern. And it’s not required. But the mittens fit a lot better when you do.
