Gauge is not really an issue with the car providing everything is knitted at the same tension.
Materials needed are…..
20.5 m body colour wool 
5 m hood colour wool 
4.2 m pale blue window colour wool 
5 m silver wool (chrome detailing) 
2.5 m black wool (tyres, car detailing) 
3 m cream wool (grille, wheels) 
0.3 m orange wool (indicators) 
0.3 m red wool (brake lights) 
2 sequins 
1 m black embroidery thread 
0.3 m silver embroidery thread 
2 x 3mm double ended knitting needles 
2 x 2mm double ended knitting needles 
Stuffing 
Scissors 
Large embroidery needle 
Cardboard or flat plastic
All wool is doubleknit
