With a saddle-shoulder construction, the shoulder and sleeve flow naturally into one another,
creating a flattering drop-shoulder fit for all body types.
The shoulder line falls smoothly without a harsh break, resulting in a relaxed and comfortable silhouette.

〔Original Yarn & Substitutes〕
Original yarn: A wool–alpaca blend with a hairy texture and gentle elasticity, ideal for garments.

Substitute yarn: For a similar look, choose a yarn with a rich hairy texture, such as
alpaca blends, brushed yarns, or hairy wool types.

If your substitute yarn lacks elasticity, you may hold it together with an elastic mohair or spandex-blend yarn to create a more stable and springy fabric.

Yarns containing cashmere are also a great option for a softer feel and comfortable layering.

〔Construction Overview〕
This sweater is worked top-down. You will begin at the shoulder saddle, pick up stitches, and use short rows to shape the back and front. Stitches are then picked up along the neckline to form the collar. From the front and collar edge, stitches are picked up again to work the front placket ribbing. The placket rib is knitted together with the front—without any seaming—and later joined to the back, allowing the body to be worked seamlessly in one piece. Stitches are picked up around the armholes, short rows are used to shape the shoulder cap, and the sleeves are finished in the round.

〔원작실과 대체실〕
원작실: 울과 알파카가 블랜딩되어 헤어리한 텍스쳐의 의류용 실이며, 탄성이 있는 것이 특징입니다.

대체실: 원작실과 비슷한 느낌을 원한다면, 헤어감이 풍성한 실을 선택해주세요.
특히 알파카 블렌드, 브러시드 얀(Brushed yarn), 또는 헤어리 울 계열을 추천합니다.

탄성이 부족한 실을 사용할 경우에는, 탄성이 있는 모헤어/스판 혼방 얀을 1가닥 합사하면
더 쫀쫀하고 형태가 안정적인 니트를 만들 수 있습니다.

또한 캐시미어가 함유된 실을 선택하면 착용감이 더 부드러워 이너로도 편하게 착용할 수 있습니다.

〔진행순서〕
탑다운 방식으로 제작됩니다. 어깨 패드(saddle)에서 시작하여 코를 주운 뒤, 뒤판과 앞판의 어깨 경사를 독일식 경사뜨기(German Short Rows)로 형성합니다. 이후 목둘레에서 코를 주워 카라를 만들고, 다시 앞판과 카라의 가장자리에서 코를 주워 플라켓 고무단을 뜹니다. 플라켓은 바느질 없이 앞판과 함께 뜨며, 이후 뒤판과 연결하여 몸통을 하나로 이어 뜨는 방식으로 완성됩니다. 암홀에서 코를 주워 경사뜨기로 어깨 산을 만들고, 소매는 원통 뜨기로 마무리합니다.
