Mosaic overlay pattern

By popular demand, the pattern has been extended to include a whole lot more than just books. With over 25 new charts, you can now add toys, vases, ornaments, plants and even the cat. To personalise it even more you can add book titles using the templates and alphabet provided.

To arrange your bookcase just how you want it, many of the charts have a reversed option; providing you with even more options to stack your shelves. It’s time to get creative, the options are almost endless.

The Extended Version also includes the original pattern, so if you purchased the original pattern on Ravelry you will automatically be given a 60% discount at checkout.

The pattern includes charts and written instructions in US and UK Terms, and is now also available in Dutch, German and Spanish (Latin American).

For this pattern you will need at least three contrasting colours, Colour A for the background, Colour B for the books and a third colour for the shelves and bookcase (the border).

I used a DK weight yarn but you can use any weight yarn, with the corresponding hook size, to make your Bookcase, however the size of your project and the amount of yarn required will differ from the details listed in the pattern. The yarn required to complete your project will be dependent on the weight yarn you use, and which charts you choose to use in your design.
