This bralette uses mosaic crochet techniques to create an intricate looking design, whilst the whole project can be completed in a few hours! Perfect for a festival or as a bikini at the beach.

You need to be a confident intermediate crocheter familiar with single/double/treble crochet, and reading patterns. A full youtube tutorial is available at https://youtu.be/X51y9GQJT8Y

You will need
• Yarn – weight 4 acrylic yarn in at least 2 colours. I’ve used red heart value in black/orange/yellow/pink/blue/purple, and craft smart value in mauve/off-white.
I’ve also used Caron cotton cake in Calico Flower with a 4.5mm hook, it looks good but is a lot more holey, you need a bra cup or piece of fabric to line it.
• 4mm hook
• Optional - Bra pad/fabric to line, sewing needle and thread
• Scissors
• Yarn needle

Stitches
Sc = single crochet
Dc = double crochet
Tr = treble crochet
Blo = back loop
Sl st = slip stitch
Sk st = skip stitch
Ch = chain
YO = yarn over

Special stitches
Fltr = front loop treble. This is a treble crochet stitch worked in the front loop of the stitch of the same colour from 2 rounds previous. This is demonstrated in the video tutorial. It may be in the stitch directly below, or it may say ‘2 ahead’ or ‘2 behind’ meaning a fltr is worked diagonally in the st 2 rows below, 2 stitches ahead or behind of current stitch.

Sizing
The cups are available in two sizes, the smaller size has one less round at the start. The measurements below are the cups flat on a table, please bear in mind that acrylic yarn will stretch so they will be slightly larger when worn. I have also made the cups with cotton yarn and a 4.5mm hook, they come out roughly the same size but are a lot more holey, you will need a piece of fabric or bra cup to line them. The straps and band are made the same for both sizes. The mauve and white bralette is a S/M. The black and rainbow bralette is a M/L.

Smaller cup – 6.25”/16cm corner-to-corner – approx. UK size 6/8/10, US size 2/4/6
Larger cup – 7.75”/20cm corner-to-corner – approx. UK size 12/14/16, US size 8/10/12
