It’s dangerous to go alone – take these gaming-themed dishcloths! Each dishcloth imitates the style of one of three classic video game series. These dishcloths are knit using the mosaic technique – a technique that looks deceptively complex. However, you’re only using one color at a time – and you only need to know how to knit a stitch and slip a stitch. All patterns in this set are both charted and written in full.

This set includes 6 dishcloth patterns: Plumber M, Plumber L, Lots of Triangles, Gaming Hearts, Totally Unspecific Alien, and Definitely Just A Generic Fighter.

Materials
• For each dishcloth: 75-100 yds each of two colors of worsted weight cotton yarn (samples knit in KnitPicks Dishie Crème Brulee, Fiesta Red, Black, Blue, & Jalapeno; all six were knit using approximately one half skein of each color)
• US 5 needles
• Needle to weave in ends

Sizing
• Approximately 9-10” square each

Techniques
• Knit stitch
• Slip stitch
• Each row of the chart equals two knitted rows: on the first row, you will knit as the chart/written pattern directions (slipping stitches with yarn held in back). On the way back, you will knit the stitches you previously knitted and slip the stitches you previously slipped (slipping stitches with yarn held in front). The WS of the work will carry all the floats. The chart shows the RS rows. On MC rows, you will k all dark squares and slip all white squares. On CC rows, you will k all white squares and slip all dark squares. The chart does not include the cast on or bind off rows.
