This is an Overlay Mosaic Crochet Pattern

Bring a touch of woodland elegance to your table with the Mosaic Ladyslipper Placemats – a beautifully coordinated set designed to celebrate texture, symmetry, and the quiet beauty of nature.

Inspired by the delicate curves of the lady’s slipper orchid, this set of four overlay mosaic crochet placemats combines bold florals with clean geometric framing for a timeless, heirloom-style finish. Each placemat features a striking central motif framed by structured borders and subtle corner detailing, creating a balanced design that is both eye-catching and refined.

Worked using the overlay mosaic crochet technique, the pattern creates stunning texture and definition without complicated colour changes within rows. The contrast between the background and motif allows the floral elements to truly stand out, making these placemats just as beautiful for everyday dining as they are for special occasions.

Designed to perfectly complement the Mosaic Ladyslipper Tablerunner, this set allows you to create a cohesive and elegant tablescape. Whether styled together for a full dining display or used on their own to add a handmade touch to your space, the placemats bring warmth, structure, and botanical charm to any setting.

Pattern Features:
• Set of 4 coordinating placemats
• Overlay mosaic crochet technique
• Detailed floral lady’s slipper motif
• Structured geometric borders
• Designed to pair with the Mosaic Ladyslipper Tablerunner
• Clear written instructions and charts

This design is ideal for confident beginners to experienced mosaic crocheters who enjoy rhythmic stitching and watching a motif slowly reveal itself row by row.

Create a table setting that feels intentional, elegant, and unmistakably handmade with the Mosaic Ladyslipper Placemats.
