Mosaic Wall Hanging 3
NOTE: To work this pattern with 3 colors, you must know how to change colors within a row.
• This pattern includes a detailed chart with stitch key and general written directions for using the chart to complete your project. If you’re new to mosaic crochet, there are many helpful YouTube videos. That’s how I learned!
• The chart was designed for a wall hanging, but can also be used for a table mat. The sample was made with three colors, using the overlay mosaic crochet technique. It can also be made with only two colors.
• Worsted weight (#4) yarn and an H (5 mm) hook were used for the sample, with a gauge of 16.5 stitches and 16 rows per 4 inches. The sample measures approximately 15 inches wide and 20 inches long. (Note: the work is rotated clockwise for a wall hanging.)
• The pattern has 57 rows and 84 stitches per row, with all double crochets marked.
• Note: The pattern does not include instructions for attaching the wall hanging to rods. If you plan to tie the ends over the rods, be sure to leave your ends long.
I hope you enjoy working with this chart as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Happy crocheting!
Elizabeth
