Bring timeless elegance to your table with the Wheatear Tablerunner, an overlay mosaic crochet design inspired by the graceful forms of wheat and classic geometric motifs. Alternating panels of stylised wheatears and diamond motifs are framed by a striking chevron border, creating a design that feels both modern and traditional.
Worked row by row using the overlay mosaic crochet technique, this pattern uses only one colour per row, making it an enjoyable project for anyone familiar with the basics of overlay mosaic crochet. The result is a beautifully textured fabric with crisp, well-defined motifs that make a statement in any dining or living space.
This pattern is intended for crocheters who are comfortable with the basics of overlay mosaic crochet or who have completed a few mosaic projects and are looking for an elegant table runner with repetitive, relaxing stitch sequences.
Whether displayed as an everyday centrepiece or reserved for special occasions, the Wheatear Tablerunner offers a classic design that complements both contemporary and traditional home décor.
