The Mosh Pit Mesh top is a fun mesh long sleeve design using an eyelet stitch and large gauge to create the mesh style! It is knit in collaboration with The Frosted Stitch Grunge collection, and has a sister design, the Rewind Tank, which I designed to layer under the Mosh Pit Mesh top! The top is knit top down, raglan construction with no seaming. It is a size inclusive design, written in sizes every 4 inches from 26” - 62” bust. It is intended to fit with 2-4 inches of negative ease.

Sizes offered:
26, (30, 34, 38){42, 46, 50}(54, 58, 62) inches
These sizes reflected the approximate FINISHED bust measurements in inches of the top. The top is designed for 2-4 inches of negative ease. To determine the size you wish to knit, measure your bust, and subtract 2-4 inches to find the closest size. If you are in between sizes, size down for a snugger fit, or up for a looser fit. My sample is knit with about 2 inches of negative ease.

Needles required:
10 mm / US 15 / UK 000, 16 inch cord to start, and a cord that matches your bust circumference for the main body of the top.
May need other size needles to meet gauge

Gauge:
4” x 4” = 9.6 sts x 13.3 rows
10” x 6” = 24 sts x 20 rows
(eyelet mesh pattern, in the round, blocked)

Yarn required:
Any DK weight yarn to match gauge.

I used Deep Freeze DK from The Frosted Stitch in one of her upcoming Grunge colourways (Lithium).

A great commercial alternative is KnitPicks Swish DK.

Yardage required:
260, (300, 350, 400){450, 500, 550}(625, 700, 750)

Note: Yardage is an approximation and is calculated using the recommended length. Allow for extra yardage if choosing to add length. Yardage can vary depending on your gauge and knitting, so I always recommend buying extra in case you require more yardage.
